Class Title: Elements of Basic Design

Whether you're new to the gift basket industry, or just in need of a review of the basics, this class covers everything from choosing the right container to building a good foundation to choosing products and placements of those products. This is a hands on class giving you the basics you need from start to finish.

Class Title: Internet Marketing & Search Engine Optimization

Instructor: Lisa Bevan

Learn how to effectively "drive" traffic to your website on the internet "superhighway". Go from putt putt to VA-ROOM! Lisa keeps up with the latest trends and will bring you the latest and greatest in the area of SEO including explaining the basic fundamental of what SEO is and why its important to your business.

Class Title: High End Design to Designing for the Budget Minded

Instructors: Deb Condo

Learn how to create upscale designs for elite clientele as well as designs for your thriftier customers while keeping an eye on your bottom line. Learn how to theme you gifts without having to buy pallets of new inventory! There's a variety of techniques you can use that will allow you to show creativity for all pocket books. You're going to see some amazing upscale gift baskets in this class and some inexpensive designs that you won't believe you can make a profit. This is a hands on class.

Class Title: Start Up Business Basics for Beginners

Instructor: Twila Kaye

Eveyrthing you should know about starting a gift basket business. From obtaining a business license to purchasing products to choosing a business name and getting a website, this class will cover it all. Credit cards, PayPal, Terms & Collections, OH MY! If you're confused by credit card fees, Paypal, terms and collections, this class breaks it all down. These change constantly so even if you're well versed from when you first started, you'll be surprised to see some of the new concepts.

Class Title: Learn HOW to put the WOW into your Designs

Instructor: Mary Ann Jacobs

Take a basic design and turn into an AMAZING design through the use of enhancements and embellishments. Mary Ann will show you how to finish your gift basket including shrink wrapping, cello and new twists, turns and fresh styles you've never seen. It's 2012, let's make 2012 style WOW! This is a hands on class.

Class Title: Organization & Production Efficiency

Instructor: Claudia Johnson

Learning how to work smarter, faster and cheaper by organizing yourself, your workshop and your processes. Keeping yourself organized includes proper inventory management and Claudia will show you how she does it. You'll be surprised how these organizational techniques can keep money in your pocket and your workshop movin'! This class has hands on displays.

Class Title: Setting Up Selling Storefronts

Instructor: Tom & Pam Newell

This class will take you through the ins and outs of owning a storefront, including how to pick a location, time and cost considerations and much more. And if you have a storefront, how to make it successful inside and out. From designing attractive displays to signage and sales, Tom and Pam will show you how to create storefront success. Techniques change and this class will bring you the latest merchandising techniques.

Class Title: Business Etiquette

Instructor: Teresa Nelson

Learn the proper and noticeable business etiquette to show your customers that you're serious about doing business with them. From social media etiquette to email; attending networking events to a common meeting with a customer, learn the right way to carry yourself for optimum success. Net-etiquette and much more!
